PRR 5600, BS-7M, #1 of 2, 1964
Description:
BWCX. Here is the first of two successive original 35mm color slides that I took at the Berwind-White Railroad Car Shops in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 26 March 1964. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5600, a BS-7M switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in June of 1950 and rated at 750 horsepower. It's shifting newly-painted TrailerTrain flatcar #550453, an ACF F-89. Since the driving wheels on the steam locomotive called "Nancy" kept slipping off, it became necessary to procure a replacement. This Diesel locomotive was "pinch-hitting" until a replacement was found.

Berwind-White, "Nancy," 0-4-0T, c. 2000
Description:
BWCX. Here is an image of a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken at the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 2000. Shown here is the ex-Berwind-White steam locomotive called "Nancy" that was built by the Vulcan Locomotive Works during 1918 and retired in 1964, having served the BWCX Car Shops in Hollidaysburg for 46 years. In this context, it's been restored cosmetically ~ but sits outside, subject to the elements.

Description:
BWCX. Here is an image of the first of two successive photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken at the Railroaders Memorial Museum in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 2018. Shown here is the ex-Berwind-White steam locomotive called "Nancy" that was built by Vulcan in 1918 and retired in 1964, having served the BWCX Car Shops in Hollidaysburg for 46 years. It's been moved inside ~ but the ravages of having been outside in the elements for many years are quite evident.
