PRR 7052, EFS-17M, 1963
Title:  PRR 7052, EFS-17M, 1963
Description:  Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 04 August 1963. Shown here are PRR engines #7052, #7182-B, and #7144. All are EFS-17M's built by EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7052 was built in 1956, but #7182-B and #7144 were built in 1957. They are about to pass over the grade crossing in Tipton with a mixed-cargo freight train on their way to Altoona for a climb up the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Gallitzin and points West.
