EMDX SD40 #402 - EMD Leasing
Description:
Built by EMD in February of 1966 as PRR SD40 #6079, it moved into the Penn Central roster as PC #6078 after the collapse of PRR and NYC. From there, it landed on the Conrail roster as CR #6331. After that it was a true boomer loco as it bounced onto several rosters. Here it's part of the EMD Leasing program. Thanks to Michael Fiser Jr, the photo has been identified as taken by Tom Boylan at Willard, OH. Thanks Mike for being patient while I updated this page.
