| I got a chance to pilot an Iowa Pacific passenger special that was en route to Memphis Central Station to be on display for train day the following day. I got on the train at Hernando and we are stopped in the picture here at State Line Rd. waiting for the CN Yardmaster to let us on to CN property. This was the first all IC painted passenger train to run into Central Staion in over 40 years. Two days later when the train went back to Grenada, people were allowed to ride the train back and it sold out at 112 passengers. |
