| ELS 501 rests in the former MILW yard at Crivitz (originally Ellis Junction), WI, on 12 Apr. '24. It is always a treat to watch a former MILW locomotive plying former MILW rails. Thor's Wolverine Den, 423 Hall Ave., stands to the right. It has been that since at least winter of 2020/spring of 2021. When I photographed it in 2013, it was V&V Trackside Saloon. Given its size and location, I have to wonder if it was a hotel when it was built. |
