| Norfolk Southern 9454 was one of 20 C44-9W locomotives – 17 NS and three Union Pacific – which were parked at the north end of Wabtec’s test track, three miles north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant. All were waiting to be remanufactured into AC44C6M units. |
