NYC 5344 "Commodore Vanderbilt" and NYC "DeWitt Clinton" parked outside of the ALCO Schenectady Shops after streamlining was completed on NYC 5344. Many railfans gathered here on this cold snowy day to capture the first streamlined steam locomotive in American history alongside the 1893 replica of the DeWitt Clinton. Author unknown.
