Here are pages three and four of a 14-page booklet published by the Pennsylvania Railroad entitled "One Hundred Years Of Transportation Progress." It was issued originally during 1946. Right-Hand Illustration: Depicted here is PRR engine #6713, an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in August of 1944, and retired in December of 1956 after 26 years of faithful service. |
