Wood. Here is an image of a photo by Don Wood that was taken near Crowl, Pennsylvania, c. 1956. Wood's Caption: "Helpers meet at Crowl on the Shamokin Branch. All 2-10-0's in ore train service were based at Northumberland enginehouse." Partially visible here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4315 and #4393. Both are I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapods" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works. #4315 was constructed as an I-1S during December of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in July of 1941, and retired in October of 1959. #4393 was built as an I-1S during February of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in April of 1942, and retired in August of 1959.
