Here's another example of a Great Northern rebuild from an older 1901 Brooks F-6 class 2-8-0 and reclassified as a C-2 0-8-0 yard switcher. The 0-8-0 lasted until it was sold for scrap in January of 1947. Rebuilt O-8-0 specs - 55" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x32" cylinders, engine weight of 204,000 lb, tractive effort of 50,520 lb.
