PRR 5497, K-4S, 1957         
Camden. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken inside of the PRSL Roundhouse in Camden, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. The photographer is not identified. Partially visible here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5497 and another locomotive whose road number is not recorded. #5497 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during February of 1928 and retired in April of 1958 after 30 years of faithful service.
