Prominent here is the Pennsylvania Railroad's double-tracked line between Altoona (to the left) and Duncansville (to the right). From 1850 to 1854, this was the mainline between Altoona and Duncansville and the PRR's interchange with the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. |
