DLW 4-6-4 #1152         
Powerful and fast are tow descriptive words for this long, sleek Alco-Schenectady built 4-6-4 Hudson. DLW #1152 was delivered in 1937 and served first in fast passenger service but relegated to lesser routes as DLW dieselized. All five in the M-1 class were removed from service and scrapped between 1951-53. Specs - serial #68911, class M-1, 80" drivers, 245 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine weight of 377,000 lb, tractive effort of 52,791 lb. J.R. Quinn photo
