PRR 4777, P-5A, 1962
Tender Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives in Frankstown, Pennsylvania, on 01 April 1962. Shown here (R to L) are PRR electric engines #4777 and #4743. Both are P-5A Modified's built in 1935 and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4777 was built by General Electric, but #4743 was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse. They are parked on the track leading directly into the PRR's Reclamation Plant. Next!
