Surviving Commuter passenger service Silverliner IV 168 follows lead MU 429 in a quartet of MU's departing Hatboro station on their way to Warminster on August 25, 2014. Prior to Conrails startup, MU 168 was delivered as a pair to the RDG in 1976 as part of 88 pairs numbered 101 to 188. They continued in CR-contracted service to Septa until 1983. Lead unit 429 was renumbered from the RDG 101-188 and 309-399 series when the PCB transformers were replaced. |
