Soo Line 4403
This locomotive has had four different paint designs, if you will. This engine was orginally numbered 793. Soo Line had ten of these, which were numbered 790-799. These followed the last of the 700 series SD40-2s, (789), and were in between the U30Cs, 800-809. Later they were numbered into the 4400 series. As you can see, it has the red Soo, which was later changed to black, which then was painted into the candy apple red, and is now in the Canadian Pacific design. Also, I think this was the first Soo Line locomotive to have been painted into at the time, the new candy apple red design.
