This 1892 Burnham, Wms & Co steam locomotive looks resplendent in the photo - with the sign in front, it must have been part of a display. This was a class 1 (or 3685) loco with small 50" drivers. It could develop a boiler pressure of 175 psi for its 24"x28" cylninders and had an engine weight of 150,000 lb. It could apply a modest tractive effort of 24,363 lb. The day in 1936 is approximate.
