| Good shot of this engine at work in a Chicago yard. Built for the CB&Q in 1923 by Baldwin, this Mikado-type loco was a class O-1A with 64" drivers, engine+tender wheelbase of 70' and an engine weight of 316,780 lb. Although not listed on the back of the photo, the location and date were determined after a search found the negative was sold on eBay in 2007. No phtographer was listed. |
