Mid-Day Surprise at Mexico  Contributor's Pick!
A KCS ballast train enters Mexico MO at mid-day on Friday 2 Sept. The KCS doesn't route a whole lot of traffic on this line; I was in town to see if Ozark Valley was running (they wern't) so this was a nice surprise. The train will pull through town and tie up in the siding to the west. NS 5055, power for Mexico-based local D26, sits to the right.
