Ted Brumberg General The closer car on the center track is CBRX #2708, which was built in 1949 by Budd in Lot #9662-025 as PRR Class PS106B 10RM-6DB sleeper #8338 GREENWOOD (Plan #9503) for the SAL pool. To PC #4372 sold in 1973 to Amtrak #2708. In approximately 1981, planned for conversion to HEP #2481 (handicap accessible), but this was cancelled and the car subsequently stored. Sold in 1991 to Charles Barthold as CBRX #2708. 7/11/2014 4:34:55 AM
Ted Brumberg General The car behind CBRX #2708 GREENWOOD in Armour Yellow is CBRX #471, which was built in 1942 by MILW as 56 seat coach-12 seat smoker #471, which was formerly owned by the National RR Museum (Green Bay), and is now owned by Charles Barthold. 7/11/2014 4:55:24 AM
