| HLCX 5960, an ex-UP, nee-CNW SD60 sit's in Roanoke's South Yard with 2 GE units waiting on it's next assignment. South Yard is the former Virginian Railway's yard in Roanoke and now serves as a staging yard for outbound coal trains. It is a shadow of it's former self, a good portion of the property has been sold to a hospital, including the parking garage I took this shot from. |
