1970'S POWER IN 1993.  Contributor's Pick!
When was the last time anyone was able catch a motive like this handling coal empties at Provo? Looking through my vast collection of prints,I found this classic from March 1993 of Southern Pacific SD40T-2 No.9343 and UP SD40-2's 3128/3644 shoving an empty coal export train returning from Southern California back to the Rio Grande at Provo. In those days all I had was a 35mm snapshot camera since that was all I could afford back in those days. Thanks to the miracle of ''Modern Technology'' I'm now able to make these timeless classics look great!
