EB SUNSET
It's 6 P.M. and daylight is fading fast as Espee train order oprator Molly Lalonde watches the fireman on Amtrak train No. 2 -- the eastbound SUNSET -- grab a set of orders at Lafayette Yard. The orders are actually for the crew who will board the train at the Lafayette depot, two and a half miles away. While the train is raising some dust, the speed limit here was only 25 MPH. The train had SDP40F's 573 and 537 with nine cars.
