BO5  Contributor's Pick!
NS train BO5, passing along the Amtrak station in Niles, heads back to Burns Harbor, Indiana after switching industries on Amtrak's Michigan Corridor line. It has been a long time since a freight train has passed by this platform. This train originally switched industries on Amtrak between Porter and Buchanan, west of Niles. NS train B1G (now abolished as of March 2009) switched the line from Kalamazoo west to Niles. Now NS train BO5 switches the entire line from Porter to Lawton, just west of Kalamazoo.
