B&M Roundhouse Area in 1970         
It had it all, partially painted roundhouse, turntable, boiler house, sand tower, creatively parked gondola cars, some sort of yellow back hoe, and a scattering of first generation EMD diesels. Wikipedia says: West Lebanon grew into a railroad hub with a separate identity [from Lebanon] after lines entered from Boston. This rail center would become known as Westboro after two trains collided when West Lebanon was mistaken for Lebanon.

Steve LaBonte General Westboro is the railroad location name for West Lebanon NH. Many accidents on this line caused the RR to rename locations to exclude East - West etc. prefixes. 10/17/2018 12:02:10 PM
