Shown here is Grif Teller's painting entitled "The New Day." It was published originally in 1934. Depicted here is PRR engine #4702, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during July of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, rebuilt as a P-5B in November of 1937, and retired in November of 1961 after 29 years of faithful service.
