Album Info:Crammed into the former B&O north passenger carshop is a collection of massive steam engines and assorted diesels and freight. Unfortunately they are so closely arranged that it limits photographs to front and rear shots only.

Description:  Once a massive passenger car repair shop containing a woodshop, upholstery shop, glazing area, metal and tin work shops, paint shop, and special fire proof room used to store paint. Now it houses some of the more massive locomotives.

Description:  Constructed in just 20 days by Baldwin Locomotive Works in July, 1918, the B&O No. 4500 was the first USRA locomotive produced under federal management during WW I. Retired in 1957, it was sent to the B&O Museum.

Description:  Offlimits to the public is the other passenger carshop that makes an "L" shape with the north carshop that is open. This is mainly a museum buildings and grounds equipment storage a minor repair. Once it was part of a major complex that built and repaired passenger cars.
