Description:  Originally built for the Northern Pacific, it bounced through the BN and ILSX roster before reaching the North Shore Scenic RR. Although a spectacular sight still in its ILSX colors, the plan is to return it to its NP paint scheme in the future.

Title:  DMIR Coach #33 - Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range
Description:  Originally built as 84 seat coach for the Duluth and Iron Range #38, "Apostle Isle", it slid onto the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range roster in 1938 when the DIR and DMN merged.. Now the heavyweight coach is maintained and shared by both the Lake Superior RR Museum and North Shore Scenic RR.

GN Coach #1115, "Liz Prebich"
Title:  GN Coach #1115, "Liz Prebich"
Description:  Originally built by ACF for the Great Northern in 1950, the 60 seat coach served the GN on its "International" streamliner service. Later this car and its sister #116 served as part of the BN business car fleet. When the Lake Superior RR Museum purchased the car, it was restored to the GN paint scheme and labeled "Liz Prebich" after the late St Louis County commissioner who heavily supported the museum and tourist train.

Title:  GN Coach #1116
Description:  Like its sister coach car, GN #1115, this 68 seat coach car was built by ACF in 1950 for the Great Northern "International" streamliner service. It too moved over to the BN business car section and renumbered A-14. When the Lake Superior RR Museum purchased the pair of cars, they returned them to the original GN paint scheme.

LSRX Dome/Buffet #250, "Silver Club"
Title:  LSRX Dome/Buffet #250, "Silver Club"
Description:  Built by Budd Company in 1948 for the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy California Zephyr, the car was an instant hit with passengers. Although much larger and longer dome cars were eventually built, this was one of the originals. When Amtrak took it over in 1970, it was renumbered AMTK 9810. The car was donated by a private source to the Lake Superior RR Museum and is shared with the North Shore Scenic RR today.

NP Coach #517 - Northern Pacific
Title:  NP Coach #517 - Northern Pacific
Description:  This 58 seat chair car coach/smoking lounge car was part of an order for 18 that NP had built by the Pullman-Standard Company in 1946. After BN inherited the car, it was sold to the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range who renamed it "Minnesota II". It was donated by the DMIR to the Lake Shore RR Museum in 2000 who later repainted it in the NP colors.

Title:  NSSR Concession/Power car #1109 - North Shore Scenic RR
Description:  Originally built as CN baggage #9299 (later CN 9670), it had an interesting life. The was first sold to Canadian VIA who in turn eventually sold it to Escanaba & Lake Superior. Then it was traded to the Lake Superio RR Museum for the NP baggage #254 they had donated to them by BN. NSSR #1109 now houses a power supply for other passenger cars and a concession stand as well.

Title:  GN Short Dome #1323, "Puget Sound"
Description:  Built for the Empire Builder train by the Budd Company in 1955, this car has been on several rosters. It was BN #4603 when the merger took place. From there, it went to Amtrak as their #9643. After that it went through several private owerships before finally being donated at the Lake Superior RR Museum and North Shore Scenic RR.
