Album Info:IORY's BN Painted SD40-2 had been sitting in Lima for quite some time being used on the Lima B Job which works all the industries north and south of Lima. Two day of the week this job runs north so I thought this day might be a good day to go and try to catch it coming by some CPL's where the DT&I connected with the B&O. Little did I know that's not what was in store for me, but something almost equally as good. Enjoy!

Description:  As time passed things began to look more and more like they werent going to go my way. The only unit left in the yard was the BN unit. There was no LSL power for the day, so my thought came to be that maybe the LNL was still out there. So, I followed the line north to Leipsic (without any CSX trains too I might add) and sure enough I found the LNL with the Lima B crew which had relieved the original LNL crew. They had left their train north of Lima to do all the work that they had to do in Lima. Of course it was with a quartet of orange units, but one of the Australian SD50s was on the front, which did make it a little better. I had a little time to mess around before they would take off south, and during that time NS 21T came roaring by westbound.

Description:  Sure enough when I went to the Leipsic Siding the crew was just beginning to move the 3 units that they had left behind while they used IORY 3493 to do the work in town. SO they wouldnt have to run long hood forward, they got back into the 3 engines left on the main, pulled up, grabbed the other engine, and went back to fetch the remainder of their train.

Description:  I decided to take a quick detour on my way home to see the RJC switcher that is set out at Spencerville. The same RJC crew out of Celina will occasionally come up to Spencerville to do work at the sole industry here in town or to move stored cars. From what Ive heard they only do this operation maybe a couple times a month and it is extremely hard to figure out when. But, hopefully, one day Ill just run into them moving by surprise!
