Title:  CR SD40 #6268
Description:  Still cloaked in the black PC color, this SD40 unit now carries the "CR" on its nose and rear sides. The loco was removed from the CR roster on August of 1984 and became EMDX 6426 with several owners after that. An unknown photographer took the photo. No day in 1979 was given so an approximate one was used.

Description:  Sitting in the Conway yard are a trio of Conrail power. #6256 was originally PC #6256 but renumberd later as CR 0809 and finally removed from the CR roster on January of 1996. CR conductor Ken Taylor took the color slide of the trio.

Description:  Damaged after a rear-end collision in East Palestine, OH on 8/19/1988, it now sits in the Conway yard awaiting a rebuilt. Eventually it would emerge as CR SD40-2R #6989 & become CSX SD40-2R #8880.

Description:  Lead unit of the 3 loco lashup is Conrail SD40 #6269 originally built as PC 6269. The loco served until being removed from the CR roster on August of 1984. It eventually became FURX 3031. The color slide was taken by CR conductor Ken Taylor.
