The following comment comes from a Blog on the WHSV News Web Site: Posted by: VP train on Jan 29, 2010 at 08:48 AM " Harrisonburg Railroad workers are non union workers, This means they have no job protection at all. If an incident happens on there line, they are subject to dismissal, with no right's to get back to work. They also have no set job. one day they may be laying Rail, then the next day a conductor. They get much lower wages, and no protection. "

Description:  I fault JMU as well! They can at best they could erect a pedestrian bridge. There are a large number of off campus houses in this area and the students can cut as much as 30 min. off their walk to campus by cutting through here. I'm not saying its right but I feel like JMU is leaving the candy dish out while the kids are alone at home!
