BNSF 2721 ( BNSF 1504 being a little shy behind her)
Title:  BNSF 2721 ( BNSF 1504 being a little shy behind her)
Description:  BNSF 2721 ( BNSF 1504 being a little shy behind her) leaving the station-wye area and making the unrealistic drop down into the lower yard area between United Grain and the sewage treatment plant after passing between Northwest Pack and warehouses. If we ever modeled this steep of an incline, wed get called on it every time being told that doesnt happen in the real world! because that drop occurs over such a short _curve_ my model power units would never be able to make it back up and it would look much more silly than this.

BNSF 2930 - BNSF 1504
Title:  BNSF 2930 - BNSF 1504
Description:  BNSF 2930 - BNSF 1504 high-balling it (as hard as these units can) northward through Felida a few ticks before the southbound Amtrak is scheduled to barrel through the area. (Exhaust ruins the effect that 2930 is in the lead... oh well! Maybe it was a _really_ hard wind?)

Vancouver North Yard
Title:  Vancouver North Yard
Description:  BNSF 1504 (left) on eastern-most of the north yard sort-n-hold yard between the Fruit Valley over-pass (photographer standing upon) and the 39th Street over-pass in the distance. BNSF 7051(?) as a power-group waiting for action, the crew-change van (PTI) shuffling along the newly updated roads and pathways. The concrete ties lead in a looping trail up to the newly place (moved from south side of 39th to north side) turn-table. The string of covered hoppers (BNSF 5092) to the right of the frame are waiting to go northbound from the passing lane, the double mains stand in partial use while track-four (in the middle) is the obvious lead ladder on the north end of the north yard. Vancouver Amtrak Station not visible, but around the upper right corner of the frame. The white buildings on the upper left of the frame block the view of the RIP track shed and power-waiting corrals - the service (sand, fuel, water) is hidden behind the tree to the left of the frame and on the other side of the 39th St over-pass. Hot-n-hazy, unusual for Vancouver, but in that aspect, Im not complaining - in fact, its why I took a stroll out onto the bridge for this over-view shot of the yard.

BNSF 1504 and BNSF 923097
Title:  BNSF 1504 and BNSF 923097
Description:  BNSF 1504 and BNSF 923097 wheel-set flat out by... what? Seriously? You think I included 1504 just as an excuse to slip in another flatcar with wheel sets on it? How shallow do you think I am? Dont answer that (My wife shouted, "Wouldnt even get a frogs knees wet!").

AMTK 117 - BNSF 1504
Title:  AMTK 117 - BNSF 1504
Description:  AMTK 117 - BNSF 1504 - Well, we wouldve got there in time to see AMTK 117 pull into the station... except BNSF 1504 that you see poking her nose up and parked on the incline up to the mains and southern main yard at Vancouver Center has her load stretched out behind her trailing down into the old lower yard and blocking the at-grade crossing back near NW Pack and the official entrance to United Grain - and my usual path to get to the station. Eh, I guess Im here now, so stop complaining.
